Turning the Fish
This grey heron was fishing one morning in Woluwe Park in Brussels. After catching a fish, the heron throws it into to the air in order to turn it into the right position. Only if the fish is positioned correctly with regards to it's scales, the heron has no problems in swallowing it. The picture shows the very moment were the fish is opening its mouth wide in mid-air before disappearing in the grey heron's throat.
